The Austrian nitrite salt is made of exceptionally pure vacuum-evaporated salt from the mountains of Salzkammergut – Bad Ischl and Halstatt (regions included in the UNESCO list of cultural and natural world heritage). It is produced in a favourable and sustainable environment by natural processes. The production process is fully automated and is one of the most advanced in Europe.

The exact dosing of sodium nitrite combined with the advanced mixing technology guarantees the homogeneity of the mixture and a very high quality of the nitrite salt. The products are supplied with different nitrite content in the range from 0.45% to 0.9%, and with a shelf life of 12 months.
